Alchesay was sired by Apache Gentlemen's, who has produced many stunning appaloosa cria. Alchesay's dam is Alpaca Rainbow Ranch's Valentine, and she has won a Banner and blue ribbons at shows. The combination of these two alpacas, gave us Alchesay and he had proven to be a Champion himself. Alchesay has turned out to be our lead herdsire, here at Alpaca Rainbow Ranch, and had 4 cria in 2023, and has had 4 cria this year with one more on its way. Next year we are hoping for 9 cria from Alchesay, with several ranches that have brought in dams to breed with him. We are proud of the quality of the fiber on these offspring, thanks to Alchesay's quality throughout his fiber. Alchesay's phenotype stands out from the others, his fleece has crimp throughout with a strong consistency of the fiber in his blanket.
