Alchesay was sired by Apache Gentlemen's, who has produced many stunning appaloosa cria. Alchesay's dam is Alpaca Rainbow Ranch's Valentine, and she has won a Banner and blue ribbons at shows. The combination of these two alpacas, gave us Alchesay and he had proven to be a Champion himself. Hershey was a beautiful Sunday afternoon surprise, we totally missed his birth, dry and nursing when we spotted him. His mom (Talula) did it perfectly and didn't need our help at all. Just another Alchesay cria running around the ranch and we could not be happier with the quality of their fiber.
This boy has black spots in all that Medium brown fiber, it will be exciting to see him shorn next summer. Didn't want to shear him this year as too close to cold winter weather coming.
